Jeremy Hatch is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Montana State University. His studio practice employs a variety of techniques and concepts linked to ceramics, ranging from vessel-based, wheel thrown sculpture to large-scale slip cast porcelain installation. In 2008, he founded Ricochet Studio as a means to explore the intersections between craft, art, and design. One goal of Ricochet is to collaborate with artists from various disciplines to develop limited edition ceramic products. He regularly exhibits nationally and internationally; and has attended a number of international residencies including the Yueji Kiln Ceramic Center in Dehua China, the Takumi Studio in Japan, the European Ceramic Work Center in the Netherlands, the Archie Bray Foundation, Kohler’s Arts/Industry program, and the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art.
